Dear Friends, Students and Associates,

On behalf of the newly formed International Deep Memory Association
(IDMA, the successor to the IRN) it is my great pleasure to invite you to our second European Annual Retreat, to be held this year in a lovely mountain region of Austria.

Last year we expanded our Network from Britain into Europe.   Students and afficionados of my work came not only from Holland, Germany, Austria, Ireland, England to our meeting in the Algarve Portugal but a large group joined us from the United States. This left us no choice but to call ourselves International .   So once more, this invitation goes to all you American as well as Europeans friends; try to make it if you can and keep consolidating our growing transatlantic entente cordiale and an extraordinary network of likeminded seekers, therapist and friends.

All the basic information you need is below; precise details will be e-mailed nearer the time. And we'll also send you a timetable close to the date and details of Graz airport pick-ups as well as the Vienna--Graz Excursion.

Bookings could be high this year so make sure you make your deposit soon! Airline prices go up every day.

This promises to be a very his powerful event where you'll   make new friends and meet lots of likeminded members of the Woolger Tribe from all over Europe and the States!

Warmest greetings from Roger

Guest Presenters:

Ed Tick (US) , author of "War and the Soul"

Dr Ed Tick is well known in the US for his pioneering work in Post-traumatic Stress Disorder or what he prefers to call "loss of the soul". This is theme of his recent and very successful book War and the Soul where he describes how he integrates both classical Greek and Native American traditions   into his healing work with trauma survivors and war veterans. Ed Tick discounts most medications and talk therapy. Instead, he prefers reconciliation with the past. He's taken Vietnam war vets back to Vietnam and has helped them get involved with various philanthropies to help needy families in the war-torn area. In many cases, the vet is able to release guilt and not only make amends with their war experiences but also make friends with their former enemies. Tick has more than 25 years experience as a clinical psychotherapist but considers himself first and foremost a transformational healer. He is also a mythologist, psychotherapist, poet, writer, educator and an ordained interfaith minister.
